The Delissio Way

Founded 2005 by Jeremy Grobben and Stephen Fitzsimmons, the journey started with Delissio Restaurant & Bar in Curtin, Canberra.  The vacant site for Delissio Restaurant & Bar was secured in January 2005, and after a great deal hard work, the restaurant was open for trade in May 2005.  The restaurant was immediately embraced by the locals and the wider Canberra community.  The success of Delissio Restaurant & Bar is attributable to the quality and diversity of its customers and the staff.  These continue to be the elements of success today.  Today Delissio Restaurant & Bar serves in excess of 1,000 customers per week.

The success of the Curtin site facilitated the birth Delissio's second venue Delissio Brasserie in Braddon, Canberra.  Delissio Brasserie was envisaged to have slightly more relaxed feel than Delissio Restaurant & Bar, but the same core elements of success.  Again Jeremy and Stephen have captured a great following serving in excess of 2,000 customers per week.

The Delissio story is a Canberra success story.  It is a testament to Jeremy and Stephen, the Delissio staff and the support from Canberra community.  The response and growth has been massive and both Delissio Restaurant & Bar and Delissio Brasserie continue to thrive year on year.
